"Easy to Use and Looks Nice :)"
I found the interface simple to use and didn’t feel confused getting around. The main tools were quick to find, which I really liked! A few screens feel a little crowded, but overall it has a nice look and works well :)

"Thorough scan, but painfully slow"
The deep scan did seem to catch a lot, so I’ll give it that, but it took way too long to finish. What annoyed me more was how careless the whole process felt, like it was just dragging through everything without much regard for my time or how it was handling things. It got the job done, but the experience was frustrating.

"Worked fine both times"
I’ve used this twice now and it’s been totally stable both times. No freezing, no weird errors or anything like that, it just worked the way it was supposed to.

"My snap judgment is that this did…"
My snap judgment is that this did exactly what I needed. I was looking for my files, found them without much hassle, and that was enough for me.

"I tried getting Disk Drill installed it was..."
I tried getting Disk Drill installed it was more of a headache than I expected. The setup felt like it dragged on forever, though I’m not even sure if it was 10 minutes or closer to half an hour because I kept getting bounced between permission prompts and random steps. At one point I thought it was done, then it asked for something else, and I couldn’t really tell what was happening or what I’d already approved. After messing with it for a while, I just gave up

"Update only makes it worse"
After I updated it, the app was asking me to pay again, which is annoying. I already paid before, so this just felt really frustrating.

"Felt safe using it with my files"
I used Disk Drill to check an old drive, and, uh, I felt okay about the privacy side of things. It didn’t ask me for any weird extra permissions, and the app was clear about what it was doing. I still get a little nervous when recovery tools can access my files, but nothing about this felt shady. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the security info was a bit easier to find.

"Ran fine on my laptop"
Disk Drill ran smoothly on my laptop while it was scanning. I was still able to browse and get some work done without it feeling like everything froze up. The fan kicked in a bit, but nothing too distracting. The recovery finished without any issues, so overall it was a easy experience

"Am I the only one this happened to?"
Am I the only one who had most of their files come back broken? I was really hoping everything would be fine, but a lot of them just wouldn’t open or seemed corrupted. Frustrating overall

"Activating my license was easy"
I bought Disk Drill getting it activated was simple. I just entered my license code and it worked right away, no random errors, no waiting around, nothing annoying like that.
I also liked that I could see my license details in my account. Just makes things easier if I ever have to reinstall it later. It’s a small thing, but yeah, it definitely helps.

"Got my refund, but canceling could be easier"
I bought Disk Drill and then quickly realized I didn’t actually need it. Canceling wasn’t super obvious at first, so I had to poke around a bit and eventually contact support. To be fair, they did get back to me, and I got my refund after a few days, so that part was fine. I just wish the whole thing was a little easier and faster, kind of like...

"Search is awful... filters don’t help!!!"
The search and filters were super frustrating!! I had already recovered my files, but trying to actually find them was a pain... I kept scrolling and scrolling forever, because the filters basically did nothing??? Not a great experience.

"Helpful guides that were kinda easy to follow"
I found the tutorials on disk-drill.com helpful. The steps were clear enough, and the screenshots made it a lot easier to understand what I was supposed to do. A few pages felt kinda longer than they needed to be, but overall the guides helped me figure things out without too much frustration.

"Support was Slower Than I Expected"
I bought Disk Drill because I saw it might help recover some files I lost. The app itself was okay, nothing too crazy, but I had a question about my scan results so I emailed support. It took a few days to hear back, and the reply felt kind of Copy-Pasted. I sent more details and then had to wait again. They did eventually respond, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it was slow and not super helpful. For what it costs, I expected Better support.

"Scan was slower than I hoped"
Disk Drill did find some of my files. So that was good. The scan just took longer than I expected. I had to leave it running for a while. It wasn’t awful. Just not very fast. It works, but you’ll need some patience if your drive is big.

"Hard to Know What I Was Recovering"
I tried checking my files before doing the recovery, but a lot of them either wouldn’t preview or just showed up blank. Common sense says you’d want to see what you’re actually getting back before committing, so that made it hard to feel confident about the results.

"Helpful, but definitely not a miracle fix"
I tried Disk Drill after I accidentally deleted a bunch of folders, and at first I was kind of hopeful because the scan found a ton of stuff. But then when I actually started opening the recovered files, a lot of them either wouldn’t open at all or were corrupted, which was frustrating. I did manage to get back maybe about half of what I really needed, so I can’t say it was useless or anything. It just wasn’t the amazing save-everything situation I was hoping for. Maybe it works better depending on the drive or how fast you use it after deleting things, I don’t know, but for me the success rate was just okay

"Scans Fine, Then Hits You With a Paywall"
It scanned my files just fine, but the second I tried to actually recover anything, it wanted payment. i don’t have the patience for apps that let you get that far before telling you the important part isn’t free.

"Easy enough, but still kind of confusing"
I tried Disk Drill it was easy to get started with, even though I don’t really use recovery tools much. The scan button was obvious, the file previews were helpful, and I didn’t feel completely lost right away. But I kept getting confused about which files were actually recoverable. Like, it would show me stuff, but I wasn’t always sure what I could really get back. That part was confusing, and it stayed confusing for a while. The options also took me some time to figure out, and I kept having to click around because it just wasn’t super clear. It works okay overall, but I really wish it explained things better because the confusing parts kept slowing me down.

"Not just for recovery"
I originally grabbed Disk Drill just to recover a few files I’d deleted, but I can’t say the extra tools haven’t been useful too. The duplicate finder and drive backup features ended up saving me some time, and it wasn’t confusing or anything. Didn’t have to click around forever, it just kind of works. Overall, I’m happy with it
